Footings are a critical part of a foundation, and will distribute the weight of the foundation according to the soil bearing capacity.  Preparation for footings includes adequate soil compaction, proper width and depth, and correct placement of rebar.  Allred and Allred is very experienced in footing construction and over the years we have built hundreds in Cedar City and Southern Utah.

The dimensions of footings depend on the size and type of structure that will be built. Placement of footings is crucial to provide the proper support for the foundation and ultimately the structure. Improper footings can lead to settling, cracked foundations, walls and floors out of level or plumb, or worse yet, structural problems or an unsafe building.
